The research activity focus on the study of biological phenomena that govern the human body during its normal activities. The aim is to investigate brain disorders by an interdisciplinary research group that has experiences in the analysis/synthesis of non-linear circuits and signals, in time series processing, in the inverse problem solution, in artificial learning techniques and in soft computing. The research group investigate the central and peripheral nervous system by the analysis of electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG) and functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI). Dynamic models for the cardio-respiratory system have been also implemented.
